ENCHANTED WINDOWS PROJECT
The Enchanted windows project is about working in partnership with local businesses to create wonderful window displays to captivate interest, build awareness and showcase the creative energy of Lismore to the thousands of people who come and visit the Lantern Parade over the weekend of 22-23 June 2019.
This year in celebration of the 25th Anniversary participation in the Enchanted Windows project will be free and include opportunities to participate in free visual merchandising workshops with acclaimed innovator, agitator, and visual communicator Natalie Coulter from Belle Flaneur. If you were familiar with the fabulous 'Santa's Wonderland' project coordinated by the Lismore's City Centre Manager in December last year, you'll be thrilled to hear that Natalie, who created this display, will be back providing the free training thanks to support from the Lismore Business Program.
ABOUT ENCHANTED WINDOWS
The Lismore Lantern Parade invites Lismore businesses to decorate their shop front windows with lanterns, lights, projections and props to this year's festival themes 'Rivers of Light' or 25 years (silver). The windows must be on display the week leading up to the festival from Monday 17 June through to Wednesday 27 June 2019. Participating businesses can choose to display a small lantern with LED candle for their window (until stocks last) plus a poster identifying the business in the Enchanted Window People's Choice Award to be voted by the public through an online voting app. The winner will receive a fabulous prize (to be announced shortly).
Increase exposure for your business
A dedicated map will be produced highlighting participating businesses and will be promoted through social media, our dedicated website and the printed event program. The winner will also be feature in the Northern Star and the Lismore Echo one week after the event.
