About The Lantern Parade

Lismore’s much‑loved Lantern Parade returns in 2026, lighting up the city once again on Saturday 20 June to celebrate the Winter Solstice — a time of renewal, hope and togetherness. Now in its 32nd year, this iconic event brings thousands of handcrafted lanterns, performers and community groups through the streets of Lismore, culminating in the much‑anticipated Fiery Finale.
