For the first time in our 25 years we had to postpone the Lismore Lantern Parade 2020 due to COVID-19 as the pandemic means no large gatherings, and the lantern parade is usually huge!
But, we cannot let the longest night of the year go by unmarked so we have created a series of creations that will make up a 'Virtual Lantern Parade'.
We've been sending lantern kits out across the land from Tasmania to Darwin, Adelaide, Perth, Far North Queensland and all along Eastern Australia. People have created wonderful lanterns every and sent us photos of their creations, and even a few from the USA and UK too.
Please enjoy some of the Virtual Magic we have created.

A montage video above has been created by gathering photos from the people who have purchased and decorated our lantern kits and turning them into a beautiful montage video along with some of our special lantern moments from years gone by.
The beautiful soundtrack is a composition by Alice Chance performed for our 25th anniversary special guests Moorambilla Voices. Watch the video here.

In partnership with our wonderful friends at Moorambilla Voices you are encouraged to have your own Lantern Parade Party at home, in your driveway or safely in your street between 6pm and 7pm on Saturday 20 June 2020 and join our Lantern Parade Zoom Party.
