market stall

important information for stall holders

location

This year the Market will once again be in to the CBD - bringing energy and light to the heart of our city.

The Market deLight activities will focus on the ‘heart’ of the city in Carrington Street and Magellan Street - featuring traditional market stalls, with ‘pop up shops’ from local businesses. There will be activities for kids and entertainment from the HeartBeats Festival stage.

Soldiers from the Lismore-based 41st Battalion, Royal New South Wales Regiment, will conduct a Freedom of Entry Parade into the Lismore CBD on 22 June 2024.

The ceremonial parade will see up to 200 soldiers from the Northern Rivers region, supported by a military marching band, enter the heart of Lismore in full regalia, where they will be halted and formally challenged by the Local Police Commander and Mayor.

Lieutenant Colonel Healy said exercising the battalion’s Freedom of the Entry was an important symbol of the close links between the soldiers and the local community.

The Fiery Finale is planned to return to our traditional home in Riverside Park.

Please note. We will follow NSW Health Public Health Orders regarding COVID restriction. We continue to strongly recommend the use of masks and safe hygiene practices.
