2024 will see the iconic Lismore Lantern Parade celebrate 30 years of bringing light to the heart of our community. Many of this year’s participants and audience were probably in strollers or school themselves at the first parade. Together, we have created a wonderful inter-generational heritage, fostering a strong resilient community celebrating together. Our annual event is rich and deep within many people's hearts.
In 2023 thousands and thousands of people lined the streets and cheered the parade as it danced along through the heart of our beloved city. What a wonderful night!
The last few years for our organisation have been challenging and at times exciting, 2020 the pandemic forced us to create a Virtual (almost) International Lantern Parade. In 2021 we had to move to a new venue, and in 2022 we returned to the streets of our CBD. And in 2023 the night brought 1000’s to the heart of the city and the riverside celebrating our strong connected hearts and renewed energy for the future.
We are excited to be coming back again on 22th June 2024.
LightnUp Inc warmly invites you to participate as a stallholder in this year’s fabulous Market deLight showcasing the best, creative, unique and yummiest of the Northern Rivers’ fare.
The festival would like to offer Lismore businesses the opportunity to set up a Pop-Up Shop at the Market deLight, priority will be given to local stall holders and all 2480 stalls fees are discounted.
Other Northern Rivers stall holders can be supported by negotiation.

The 2024 parade will travel through the CBD - bringing energy and light to the heart of our city.
The Market deLight activities will focus on the ‘heart’ of the city in Carrington Street and Magellan Street featuring traditional market stalls, with ‘pop up shops’ from local businesses. There will be activities for kids and entertainment from the HeartBeats Festival stage.
The Fiery Finale will return to our traditional home in Riverside Park.
TAFE NSW will be live streaming the Fiery Finale to the internet so you won't miss the finale.
Please note. We will follow NSW Health Public Health Orders regarding COVID restriction. We continue to strongly recommend the use of masks and safe hygiene practices.
trading times
The day will begin at 12pm, and conclude at 9.00pm, the site will have adequate space to create some beautiful areas for stallholders to trade.
Winter Warmers will trade between 4pm and 8pm.

First round applications close at Midnight on 27th May 2024
Offers for positions at the Market deLight 2024 will be made by a selection process.
Your offer will be sent via email soon after Thursday 30th May.
A payment invoice will be included in your site offer.
Please ensure your invoice is paid in full by the due date on the invoice to secure your spot at Market deLight.
